Have you ever looked at the Queensland Coat of Arms? Look Closer..
Between the Brolga and the Red Deer you’ll see a shield, and in the bottom right corner of that shield you’ll see a crossed pick and shovel. Most people never even notice it.
In any Coat of Arms, each item that appears has a particular significance or meaning. In Queensland’s Coat of Arms, the crossed pick and shovel represents Queensland’s mining industry (one of the founding industries of this great state). But at Law QLD, we believe they represent a whole lot more than that.
In fact, we believe those tools symbolise something that makes Queenslanders special: a belief that hard work brings results, and a refusal to back down in the face of adversity. Like Thomas Edison said, genius is 1% inspiration, and 99% perspiration. We’ve seen that Queensland spirit show itself time and again over the years: from the 1974 floods to the 2011 floods…and every year come State of Origin.
Those same beliefs are also essential for conducting legal matters: you need hard work and to stand your ground. You need to refuse to be intimidated. And you need the perseverance to keep working until the job is done.
And whilst we know that legal matters can seem overwhelming, you can rest assured we’re with you every step of the way. Our lawyers have the legal acumen and experience to obtain the result you need, and we won’t take a backwards step in doing it.
At the end of the day, you’ll feel better knowing our legal team is on your side.
We understand that the physical and financial effect of injuries can put good people in bad situations…but when you’re ready to stand your ground, we’ll be standing next to you.
